The Science of Human Consciousness
In this webinar, Andrew Solomon will track the correlations between quantum science and the human mind that are fast coalescing in an (as yet) loosely-defined new field: the science of human consciousness. Through the field of epigenetics, this new science broadly focuses on emerging correlations between the thoughts and feelings circulating in both our mindset and our biophysical experience. As science has demonstrated, a simple ‘thought’ has a measurable mass. Brain waves conveying thoughts and feelings have a measurable energy charge and mass, and Einstein’s theory of relativity (E=MC2) logically extends to the relationship between Mind (Energy) and Mass also being equivalent and constant. This logically extends to the human psycho-emotional (‘Mind’), so that the intangible inter-play between Energy and material and physical experience can be thought of as ‘mind-energy.’
Could it be that the existential calling of this fundamental level of existence is the real meeting point between science and religion? Could it reflect a quantum level of intelligence? Could the human concept of ‘god’ in its myriad forms be the way that, at some deeply unconscious level, we sense and try to personify our interconnectedness with the creative intelligence of the quantum multiverse?
Interconnectedness is generally not our conscious human experience. Yet, we can examine the implications of this science in our own lives. Using the backdrop of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey, we will explore what this science signals for our understanding of human consciousness and what it means for our perception of individual and collective experience.
Will we simply keep living the way we have become used to? Will we use it to expand into hitherto unexplored realms of human experience? Will we expand the theory and practice of psychotherapy and reach for new horizons of personal transformation? Will we use it not only to help fix that which seems broken, but to realise the fundamental level of our existence, where nothing is ever broken?
How do you streamline your business to improve financial management and create a powerful vision that drives your success?
About Andrew Solomon
Andrew Solomon is a former corporate lawyer, former ASCH Board member, and now an Honorary member of the ASCH and contributor to Hypnotherapy Today. From a child trying to understand the reason for the conflict in the world and through a spontaneous out-of-body experience, he has been a relentless investigator of life’s big questions and a passionate explorer of the nature of the human mind. A long-time student of the spiritual psychotherapy articulated in A Course in Miracles, he has studied with some of the world’s great masters on his own healing journey. Design your own hypnosis weight loss programme
In this webinar, Sheila looks at how we, as hypnotherapists, can tap into the weight loss market that is developing in today’s world, in particular the weight loss jab and how we can produce similar results with hypnosis by addressing the same things as the weight loss Jab. As hypnosis practitioners, we can develop a process that works in a similar way to the weight loss Jab and achieve similar results.
This is not just ‘think yourself slim’. It takes more to shift the weight. We know that every client we work with is different, and we take into account their life experiences, knowledge, and expectations to assist them with their weight loss and health needs. We use the client’s belief systems and body type to help them create a win.
Sheila will also look at how we use hypnosis ourselves, to develop our own weight loss, health and well-being hypnotic model, which educates on how hypnosis helps and how we can align it to all the new stories about the latest weight loss injection craze.
Educating people as to how we can show up as a potential stand-alone alternative solution or as an added layer of support in their weight loss journey assists clients in changing their mindset.
We invite you to bring along that one thing—chocolate, biscuits, hamburgers, a glass of wine—you want to consume less of. Bring it along and join in the group session that Sheila will include in her webinar. She will also demonstrate how to create feelings of fullness hypnotically.

Clients often come to hypnotherapy for something very particular, like smoking, or eating, or phobia, or confidence, which is always a good place to start. But so often there is something much more important and sometimes much more difficult lurking below. Mirroring Hands is one of the best ways to allow the client to reveal what is happening within and to bring it forward so that you can both work towards an effective change.
Bring your questions and, if you would like, your cases from which we can learn and teach each other.

Conversational Hypnosis and Sleight of Mouth
Milton Erickson was a master at words and language, which were always designed to build on internal change. His design was person-centered in focus to support the individual in discovering their own inner wisdom and potential. He mastered the art of assisting clients in releasing limitations and creating more flexibility, which of course enables change.
The aim of this webinar is to help you recognize what you already know, and to open up new ideas on how you can expand your creativity in designing metaphors and suggestive language.
Learn about the key words that clients use, how to work with them, and how to move the client forward in the wisdom of change at the unconscious level.
The client has an array of stories in their general conversation that you can develop into great hypnotic designs for change.
Discover your client’s internal language and how to use that language to weave and design conversational suggestions leading to flexibility for change.
Learn about the key words clients use that elicit an awareness in you, the therapist, of what to design.
My practice is built on clients who are children and adults with trauma, both body and mind. I discovered some 20 years ago how powerful conversational hypnosis really is in creating the split in the conscious and unconscious minds, and in developing unconscious competence for change which bubbles up into the client’s conscious mind, so that they know and discover their inner wisdom, and feel empowered.
Join me for an interactive webinar with companion notes that you can use to follow my demonstrations.

Treating Alcohol dependence
As a dedicated therapist, I understand your commitment in providing the best care for your clients and continuously enhancing your professional skills.
My unique webinar process is a great way to gain knowledge and insights, and to add additional resources and opportunities for you to expand your therapeutic skills.
We are all born with the disposition for addiction, be it nature, DNA and gene structure, or nurture, environmental factors, and conditioning. The brain is wired to look for addictive processes, we can see that in such terms as "oh they are a workaholic," or there obsessed with their hobby to the exclusion of everything else.
When such focus becomes a compulsion and/or an all-time consuming obsession, we call that an obsessive-compulsive process. However, this webinar will look deeply at alcohol and its harm on the human condition both biologically and psychologically.
Although we will not look specifically at brain chemistry and alcohol, in this webinar, after all, we are not neuroscientists, we are therapists, however, there is an abundance of Internet research that points to dopamine, reward pathways, tolerance and withdrawal, as well as neuroplasticity shedding light on why alcohol dependence can be a chronic and relapsing condition.
It also highlights the importance of addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction in treatment approaches. This is where hypnotherapy has great value as it addresses the conscious mind. the subconscious and primal brains behavior, in reducing and or eliminating such addictions. This podcast acts as a precursor to the webinar itself.
Part one of the webinar looks at alcohol and alcohol dependence.
Part two of the webinar looks at alcohols effect on the body.
Part three of the webinar looks at interventions and therapy.
Because alcohol is sociologically acceptable it becomes insidious to treat, the slide into alcoholism is subtle and real. This webinar is designed for those beginning the slide into alcohol dependence and not in the treatment for the severe alcoholic.

Every patient with anxiety has sympathetic overactivity that can now be abolished by parasympathetic overactivity using the Magnifying Glass metaphor which contains over 300 embedded suggestions. Every patient with anxiety also has triggers such as unwanted emotions, thoughts, physical feelings and images. These can now be replaced rapidly with positive ones using the 4F technique. Every patient with anxiety makes the mistake of believing those thoughts and that can be abolished and made unbelievable by using the SVM method. Every patient with anxiety thinks like a pessimist and that can be transformed into optimistic thinking by learning the 3P’s technique.
That Quartet of techniques cures about 80 per cent of anxiety cases. The residual 20 per cent are often still bothered by flashbacks to past traumas, upsets, grief, loss, and other negative events in their life. Those can always be dumped and parked and not carried again without ever discussing a single word with the therapist. Absolute privacy.
Anxiety is now finally curable. That statement does not mean they will never have some anxiety. It means they will no longer have to burdened by daily bouts of anxiety that dominates their life.
